I am planning on doing a TEFL course early next year in the hope to use this qualification to work in Gran Canaria. Does anyone have any advice/experience of working as a TEFL teacher in Gran Canaria? And how difficult is it to come by a TEFL job?

Hi Nic and welcome to the forum. I haven’t worked there, but there seem to be a few language schools – it might be worth contacting them to see if they’re looking for teachers, and what they require. Have a look at http://www.eslbase.com/schools/spain for a list.
