I’ve just started teaching in Thailand, do you guys have any ideas of good sites that feature free teaching resources – I’m really struggling to keep my lessons fresh and exciting. I teach pre-intermediate kids with short attention spans (little darlings, every one!)
    Much appreciate any help!

It depends on what age and level your classes are. The key is simplicity here; make sure you have clear in your mind exactly what the crucial language element of each class is – that is, what you are trying to teach for that class.

Once you have that you can develop all sorts of games and exercises around it from a simple role play to jigsaw listening to mimes… the list is endless and the good thing is that the same game can be used in different lessons for different language elements.

There are some ideas here which could help: Classroom Techniques – ICAL wiki
