    Hello there,

My name is Ojica Ioan-Andrei, I come from Romania and I plan to get my CELTA certification in the near future. I have been studing English for most of my life since it’s a mandatory language in Romanian schools. I also have a Bachelor degree in English and German. Now I want to get my CELTA in order to teach English in Germany.

As I understood, most teachers work on a freelance basis and most private schools prefer it that way. However, I am most interested in teaching full-time with a contract and as such I was wondering if the CELTA certification gives us the legal right to work in public schools, in Germany. And if that’s not possible, what are the chances to get hired full-time? Has anybody any experience of the kind?

    Thank you very much.
