Would anyone happen to know what the going rate is for hiring a full-time and part-time teacher in Cape Town – SA?

I’ve been working in South Africa for 5 years, mainly in Johannesburg. I’ve seen salaries here range from as little as the equivalent of US$5, to as much as US$20, depending on your experience and your qualifications, and on the school. It’s similar in Cape Town. So there’s no easy answer to your question! That’s for full time teachers, and I imagine that part time teachers would get the same hourly rate – there aren’t any part time teachers at my school though.

I’m throwing my name in the hat too if there are possibilities working there. Just reply and I’ll get back ASAP.
