Hello! Can anyone give me any advice? I recently moved to Tangiers, Morocco and am hoping to work as an English teacher this coming September. Has anyone ever been to this neck of the woods or know where I can start looking? I have been advised the American School might need some English teachers which could be a start.

I am curious….it’s been several months since you posted this message. How was your response? Were you able to start working this past September 2007? If so, how is it going? Do you have any advice you’d give to someone else hoping to do the same in Marrakesh? I posted my own message in this forum earlier today. Perhaps you have some insite after these few months?

    Thank you!!

As I have posted in other forums, there are opportunities for teaching English in Taroudannt, 4 hours South of Marrakech. Through our volunteer projects we have got contacts in schools across the town, I am happy to provide contact details if this appeals to anyone.

Teaching in Morocco, most schools offer medical insurence and will give you a return flight after a 2 year contract. corkid.co.uk/morroccosample.htm :D
