Hello everyone – greetings from the UK!
To cut a long story short, I’m hoping to teach English in Albania (preferably Tirana), starting in August/September 2011 and I just wondered if there’s much work out there. I know a lot of work is done through missionary organisations, but I wondered if there was any paid work available…though I’m aware it would be relatively low-paid. That said, I’m interested in Albania because I’m genuinely curious about the country and in love with the people: I would just need enough to live on!
I’ve seen an advertisement for LSIA, but thought I should ask the experts in case I’ve missed any big opportunities and/or to get any advice on working in Albania. I have a full TEFL certificate, four summers’ experience teaching EFL at summer schools and will have a degree by September.
Thank you so much for your help – anything you can tell me would be very much appreciated
