Hello,
I lost the link to a Government of Spain / Madrid website where they post EFL jobs. I think they post jobs in January for September of that year, and it is free to apply,
Can someone please share the link with me if you know what I am referring to?
I am also interested in other EFL job boards in Spain for non-EU citizens if anyone has any recommendations.
Thank you.

Kamilla – was it an official Spanish government site?

Hi Dan,
Yes, to my knowledge there is an official Government of Spain website that posts links to job postings.
Thank you.

Hi Kamilla,
There are no Government websites here in Spain that post job links for EFL teachers, and especially not for non-EU citizens. I think you’re referring to the Ministry of Education’s NALCA (http://www.mecd.gob.es/eeuu/convocatorias-programas/convocatorias-eeuu/auxiliares-conversacion-eeuu.html), but that’s a programme not a jobsite.
As a non-EU citizen, programmes like the above are your ONLY option for finding legal work in the EU. This is because EU hiring law dictates that employers cannot just offer a non-EU citizen a job – they first have to prove that there were no suitably-qualified EU citizens who could do the job. When it comes to TEFL, that is not a very likely proposition.
Hope that helps, and if you have any other questions, please ask.
