There are tremendous and very detailed Internet posting battles going on all over the ‘Net about whether or not to work at Peizheng College, a private school near Guangzhou.

Having no vested interest in the place one way or the other, I would encourage any person contemplating working at this school to read as many of these posting as possible.

The school has much going for it; nonetheless there has been some very, very serious criticism levelled at the management of the school and worse, at the conduct of the foreign teachers employed there (heavy drug use, heavy drinking, brawling, apartment break-ins) so that in the end, I would probably myself avoid the place at all costs.

Caveat emptor. Read the posts and contact PREVIOUS teachers who have worked there. Never, ever take the word of a current teacher at a school in China (subject to administration pressure) nor of a recruiter / agent (who will say anything to make a placement).

Again, caveat emptor and in all likelihood, avoid.

This poster (Suzhou Teacher Also) HAS, in all likelihood, worked for this establishment and now has a bone to pick with the school.

Please check out this thread about another school he has "no vested interest in":

This poster bounces from one school to another leaving behind a big smoldering pile of debris and then, when things didn’t go his way, manages to come on to various websites and attacks the schools. PLEASE read the above linked thread and it will be an eye-opener for you.

The above poster has one of the DARKEST reputations of any foreign teacher in China.

He has been the subject of at least 100 posts on http://www.eslteachersboard.com, a very respected ESL board worldwide, from which he has been permanently banned. I will not comment about what has been written there.

He has been the subject of at least 50 posts on http://www.raoulschinasaloon.com, a very respected ESL board in China, from which he has also been permanently banned. Again I will refrain from commenting upon what has been written there.

He has been banned or ejected from numerous other ESL boards.

He posts under many monikers, all of them false and devious, and he attracts unsuspecting foreign teachers to his school, aka his lair, where he devours them professionally and then spits them up, in tatters and shreds. He actually caused one poor French lady a nervous breakdown or that is what we hear.

So there is the truth, dear posters. Avoid him and avoid his school, at least until he is removed from that school.

Yes, yes, Suzhou Teacher Also – – – blah, blah, blah. And somehow you seem to be able to use a couple dozen net names and nobody is the wiser!

Even your "real" names (Alex? Andre? who knows?) seem to be as fake as you! I wonder if we should ask "Stephanie" or "Diane" or "C. Worthington" what "The Truth" is?

And, by the way, who is this "we" to whom you refer? I’m guessing you and all your many, many fake names!

And, yes, you HAVE worked for this Peizheng school – – everyone knows the "The Truth" . . . Andre.
