    Hi everyone,
    i have a lesson aims to teach students how to greet someone, introduce themelves, share ideas and express their opinions. I will invite a native speaker to speak with students. So i think i need two classes. the first one will be about how to prpare student for meeting the guset and train them how to greet ….etc. the next class they will talk with the native speaker.
    please , any ideas how i can explain the two lessons especially the first one and what the activities should be used .
    any suggestions will be welcomed. THANK YOU EVERYONE

    First introduce them with formal greeting manners and then show them some video clips in which people are shown greeting each other. Such video are easily accessible on Youtube. After that you can conduct rehearsal for the exact occasion in order to train them accordingly.

    How about building a lesson plan that teaches them how to order in a restruant? Something along the lines of learning food names, the waiter/waitress, drinks, etc. If the class is small enough, break them into "fours" and make some menu’s and teach them how to order in English. A little work needs to go into this if you want it to work well.
