    Hello.
Am a Ugandan currently living in the UAE.
I have a TEFL certificate, currently doing a Business English certification. Already hold an advanced diploma in Software Engineering and a bachelors of Science in Applied Information Technology.

Most English teaching job ads I have come across either require one to be a native English speaker or have two or more years work experience in the UAE.

I have taught for 4 years in Uganda, but barely have time to take my CV from one school to another in case proof is needed that I can handle the job.

How should I go about this?

Hi Dennis – what do you mean exactly by what you wrote here:

    Hi Dennis,

Teaching jobs in the UAE can be quite competitive and tend to have job requirements that include a state-issued teaching license and a few years of teaching experience. I recommend you visit https://www.teachaway.com/ and browse their job board – they have LOTS of jobs in the UAE and it might help you get a better idea of what is required to teach there.

    Good luck!
