I have been teaching ESL in the United States for 6 years. I’m thinking of looking for work in Mexico. I have a Masters in K-12 TESOL: Linguistically Diverse Education as well as a Bachelors in Secondary English and K-12 ESL. Anyone have experience with teaching in Mexico? Specifically at Instituto Gardner in Cozumel, Quintana Roo. I’m an older (51) white married female with minimal Spanish proficiency. Thanks for any advice or words of wisdom.

I guess I should clarify. I have beginning level conversational Spanish ability.
