I was asked to give a demo teenagers class this monday. I chose this grammar point. But I haven’t got any ideas yet? Can anyone help me?

Give a little more info on this please.
Perhaps more on the students. Where are they and age etc.

I believe your question is concerning direct/indirect questions? If this is the case, you problem is solved. I plan on making this part of a discussion when I conduct my class in China–starting next month. You can easily involve the class too. Think of a way you ask a question, such as, "do you have the time?" This is a direct question. If you turn this around (as if you’re stopping someone on the street), you would say, pardon me, but I was wondering if you knew what time it is?" I hope that is indirect enough. Okay, Just think of how you ask a question, and use same question in a more indirect manner. Its almost like forming a passive sentence. Am I on track to your question?

    Mecor 728,

All I do is I get them into pairs, get them having a simple chat about, e.g. biographical stuff, then get them to report what their partner said to the rest of the class. "Nikos said he thinks that grammar sucks and he told me that he gets his sister to do his homework for him."

You might want to be more specific about what they are to chat about so that you ensure that they cover key tenses.
