Hey so I see all the online courses 80hrs, 120hrs on sites like mytefl, while a friend did a 5 day class in Australia, no degree, got certified and is getting heaps of online work from all over and received other work through Chinese companies.
I’m trying to get certified online as quickly as I can and still be valid for getting class work, similar/same opportunities.
I know where to find the work I just want my qualifications to be enough when I reach out.
Does anyone have recommendations from personal experience on where and how to get adequate qualifications in a short period of time? What’s served them.

Any online qualification will probably do if you go down this route
I don’t have a personal recommendation. In my experience though, employers who are willing to accept a quickfire online qualification so they can tell their paying students that they have “qualified” teachers, don’t really care which of these quickfire certificates the teachers have. Any will do to have enough teachers to meet their demand.
I’m not judging – it’s obviously a business model that works – although I would question the quality of teaching that some of the students receive from teachers with just 5 days worth of online training.
So to answer your question, if you do go down this route, I would find one that has good reviews and gives you the most amount of training that your time frame and budget can afford.
