Adverts have recently been posted by someone claiming to represent Mondragon Lingua.

Mondragon Lingua is a reputable language school, and this person is using their name to scam teachers into providing passport numbers and other information.

    Example job post:

We appoint both Non EU and EU language Teachers for 3,500EUR

Leading language school Mondragón Lingua seeks to appoint both Non EU and EU language Teachers for 3,500EUR/Monthly.

If you are interested, send CV, photo + reference(s) to Mike Church (mondragonlingua@mail.com and info@mondragonIingua.com).

    Tel: +34-6081-30884

    Warning signs:

    1. 3500 euros is practically unheard of for a teaching salary in Spain -average teacher salaries are in the region of 1000 euros.

    2. That "l" in "lingua" in the second email address is actually a captial "i" – which looks exactly like a small "l" in some fonts. The scammer has most likely purchased the domain mondragoniingua.com.

    3. A Google search for the phone number shows that it is the same one used in another scam (details here).
