I am an Australian native english speaking person living in Perth. I want to teach english to non english speaking people in Perth (not overseas) but I don’t know which qualification to do. I have a 3 year Bachelor Degree already from a Perth Uni. All the English schools say do CELTA but I can’t afford it as it is approx $3000.00. Do I really need this highest most expensive qualification or can I do something else like a TESOL or something. So confusing! Can anyone help at all?

Yes, CELTA is a fairly intensive certificate program in terms of finance, workload and commitment.
In most places the basic requirements for entry level teaching positions are a degree plus a TESL/TEFL certificate – not necessarily a CELTA.
Quality online TESL/TEFL Certificates like the ICAL 100hrs TESL/TEFL Cert. are also widely accepted.
Of course it depends on where you want to teach and at what level. And if CELTA is what the schools where you’d like to work want then I’m afraid you don’t have much choice.
