    Hi guys

I plan on spending some months in Prague teaching english. This may happen next year, but, as I have the time to train up now, I’m about to embark on a TESOL diploma course. (staying with folks in singapore for a few months, then back to london)

Could you tell me what kind of accreditation an english teaching course should have?
Is "Global TESOL" the offical recognised body? Is this the same as GLobal TESOL COllege Canada?
There’s been a few shitty course providers about, hence I’m a bit cautious.

Once qualified, what’s the best way to get a teaching placement in Czech?
Mluvim trochu cesky, however that’s as far as it goes :)

I also understand the need for actual teaching practice, hence that will affect my choice of course provider.

Czech (and it’s people) are amazing, I’ve been a few times and have always come away inspired by the down-to-earth, earnest talent of the younger generation there.

    thanks in advance!

    derek
