Hi, I am Farrukh and new to this forum. Here I just wanted to introduce myself. I am doing BS(CS). And also teaching English to inter students. But I want to change my profession. Now what can I do? As you know that forum is the best source for discussion so that’s why I joined that forum to discuss my profession and happy to share some ideas. Hope I’ll enjoy my stay here.

Hello and Welcome!
This forum has very nice, knowledgeable people, but you don’t get a lot of responses to your questions like you do on Dave’s ESL Cafe, where folks are bit more aggressive and impolite.
Best of luck and stay around.
(PS Although I didn’t get a lot of responses to my question posted a while ago, the one I did receive was most helpful.)

Hello, Farrukh, nice to meet you, welcome to the forum. From what I’ve seen as a new member it’s very informative and friendly.

I am definitely late for the party but still, I’m in the same situation. I’m an English teacher and I would like to change my profession to something connected with advertising. Is it possible?

Lilyvick, of course, it’s not the job who chooses a person, but a person chooses it. Find some advertising courses, read more specialized literature, when you feel you know enough try finding a traineeship job, it will give you a lot of knowledge and experience. I started as an electrician and it’s been six years since I started working as an engineer in SVAYA, that’s a Serbian building company. My way was long but it led me to what I wanted to be :) good luck and cheer up
