I’ve tried researching the following but not had any luck (although I think I probably already know the answer):
I have a Certificate of Education in the lifelong learning sector (Cert Ed), level 5, from the University of Westminster.
Is this likely to be recognised at all abroad and is there any chance it may be taken as the same/similar to a full degree when looking for work abroad.
I’m planning on taking a 120 hour online TEFL course and want to be able to start looking at potential locations for work once I’m done.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
P.s.hope this is the correct forum.

It will be recognised by employers who have the foresight to take into account more than just your TEFL qualification (some do, many don’t).

Possibly – it has the same level as a foundation degree so it’s possible. It depends how strictly employers apply the degree requirement. I would go on the assumption that it won’t be enough, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised with a few employers in a few countries.
Not really a definitive answer I know but I hope it helps.
