I completed an online application for a Celta course last Thursday evening, complete with pre-interview task, and on Friday morning received an e-mail inviting me to an interview. I replied, and this Monday morning received a reply asking if I could come "at around 12:45" on Wednesday. I have said yes.
This all seems very different from what I have read online about CELTA interviews. There seems to be no talk of a group interview or test. Is this normal? I am a secondary English teacher of 7 years with PGCE and QTS. Do this usually make a difference?
I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar interview, arranged at short notice? Should I do any preparation or prepare myself for a test or some sort of assessment?
Any helpful comments would be appreciated

Asking you to come "at around 12.45" does sound a little strange, but if everything else seems ok, then I’d go ahead with the interview and see what happens.
