I have narrowed down my country choice to do my CELTA. These are Germany, Poland, Hungary and Italy.

Has anybody got any reviews (honest) of CELTA courses in these countries

I see that International House have a virtual monopoly of CELTA courses in this area. Is this company any good.

Any constructive advice would be great. :D

IH used to be the industry standard; the CELTA was started by their founder way back in the good old days.. Of course it wasn’t called CELTA then.
The quality of a course depends less on the exam board in my view but more on the trainers who deliver it. Unfortunately, apart from a very few well known industry names, it’s almost impossible to judge the quality of the trainers before experiencing it oneself! And even then, it’s extremely subjective – does the style suit you. You might, of course, find ex trainees who can give you more information but they too will have subjective opinions based largely on their own success or lack of!
I’m not entirely sure why you are looking only at CELTA, (I don’t want to advertise here but..) we run the Trinity Cert. in Germany and have done since 1996! :D

Working with language learners and training teachers since 1980. What’s it all about? http://teachinglearning.freeforums.org
