Just wondering what people think about which coursebooks are the best?

At our school, we have been using SpeakOut, but while we like the Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels, we are not as keen on the lower levels.

‘Cutting Edge’ has been suggested to us? Anyone have anything to say about it?

    Thanks in advance

Depends on the profile of your students – age / learning objectives / nationality / etc… Can you provide some more info?

Very true. TEFL Coursebooks at best are a very general framework for a class to follow.

They are designed for "typical" classes which means they aren’t designed for a real class. What age and level are your class and what interests do they have and why are they learning English? You can probably find a coursebook which is vaguely suitable but then adapt it for your class needs.
