I am just starting out in the TESOL industry. Although I am about to start work in South Korea in my first TESOL job, I would like at some stage to work in Germany.

I have a few questions, starting with:

Is it hard for Australian citizens (who don’t have any recent ancestry connections with Europe) to find TESOL work in Germany?

If it is possible for an Australian to work in Germany – how long does it usually take for all the required permits to be processed?

What parts of Germany, and in what areas of the industry, are best for getting a reasonable paying job as a TESOL teacher?
