Please use the same level of professionalism and respect that you would expect from your future employer. Language schools and other employers invest time and resources into the recruitment process, just as you do when researching jobs, writing your CV and preparing for interviews. With this in mind:
- Please don’t accept an employment offer unless you are sure that you want to take it up. Language schools need to make sure they have the necessary staff in place at a particular time to deliver the classes they have promised to their students. Accepting an offer and then changing your mind several weeks later can leave language schools in a difficult and damaging position.
- If you do need to pull out for legitimate reasons after accepting an offer, or at any stage of the recruitment process, let the employer know as soon as possible so that they can move on with their recruitment and find a replacement.
