Preparation Make enough copies of the worksheet for the number of students in your class.
What do I do?
  1. Divide students into pairs and hand out the activity.
  2. Students compare the two sentences in each pair and discuss the difference in meaning.
  3. Feedback as a class, highlighting the differences in meaning.

We’ve visited our offices overseas.
We’ve been visiting our offices overseas.

She’s worked in Moscow, but now she’s in London.
She’s been working in Moscow, but her usual base is in London.
