Job description

The Union Jack School of English based in the historical centre of the picturesque city of Naples is currently interviewing freelance English teachers for the upcoming Academic year October 2024 to June 2025. We can only consider Mothertongue Native speakers who hold a dual nationality or valid status to work and live in a Schengen area like Italy or Europeans who have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Teachers are paid 15 euros per lesson and we guarantee a minimum of 15 per week working up to at least 20/25 or more. The retribution is a monthly payment and the timetable runs from Monday – Friday from around 14.30 – 20.00 with the possibility of overtime mornings and evenings.
Candidates must possess a knowledge of all Cambridge certificates and must be outgoing and of a pleasant disposition as interaction with our students is a must.
Don’t miss up the chance of a lifetime to emerge yourself in a unique culture taking in the sights of one of the most popular tourist venues in the world whilst enjoying good wine and incredible street food and gastronimical delights such as the original Napolitan Pizza, Mozzarella and fresh fish and vegetable produce only native to our city. A working holiday with numerous possibilities to visit amazing sites like Pompei and Ercolano or take a trip along the Almafi coastline to Sorrento, Ravello or Positano or a ferry boat to the magical island of Capri or the emerald sulphur island of Ischia or the quaint little isle of Procida or for the more adventurous, an excursion up the famous volcanoe Vesuvio; the possibilities are endless.
