website: maplekidsenglish.com/ MAPLE Kids English (MAPLE) is a language school located in Matsumoto Japan. We have a kindergarten facility and use a team teaching approach (each class has at least one native speaker and one Japanese teacher working together for a ratio of one teacher for every 3 to 4 children). At MAPLE, we teach young children in an "English only" immersion environment. Most of our children come twice a week for at least 90 minutes at a time. We have preschool classes for 2 year olds that are twice to four times a week. Children who are old enough to enter their first year of kindergarten (nenshou in Japanese) may either enter our afterschool program (described below) or our 4 day a week Pre2 program. The Pre2 program is for 3hrs a day, 4 days a week. Half of the time is entirely in English and the other half is in Japanese. The hours are 10-1 Tuesday to Friday. Our afterschool program is for children who are in a Japanese kindergarten or elementary school. These children come afterschool on weekdays and/or on Saturdays.
