Activity

Preparation
Make enough copies of the activity for the number of students in your class.
What do I do?
1 Divide students into pairs and hand out the activity.
2 Students ask and answer the questions with their partner.
3 Get feedback from different pairs. You could develop some points into a class discussion, for example, the pros and cons of package tours.

What is the worst vacation you've ever had?
Talk about your last vacation.
Where are you planning to go for your next vacation?
Which country would you most like to visit?
Do you think you will ever go there?
Do you read about a place before you visit?
Do you prefer...
sightseeing or the beach? Why?
travelling alone or with a group? Why?
flying or driving? Why?
package tours or independent travel? Why?
staying in a hotel or camping? Why?
