Language point: Vocabulary for kids
This is a good way to introduce classroom objects to kids.
You sit with your kids in a circle. Have things like a pencil, a pen, an eraser, a sharpener, paper, glue, book, colored pencils with you on the floor.
Pass the first object to the person on your right/left and say the name of the object as you pass it to them. They repeat the name and pass it to the next person, who does the same.
This continues until you have passed around all of your objects.
You then begin passing the objects around again a little faster, having more than one object going round. Shout "stop" and ask for one of the objects going round. The student with the object holds it up and gives it back to you.
You can probably think of variations on the theme!
