The Biggest Christmas Turkey In The World

Posted by Jacqueline Richards

Language point: christmas food spelling quiz

The biggest Christmas turkey in the world didn't even need Christmas to be magic - it was magic all year round. The biggest Christmas turkey in the world was more the size of a small horse. So big in fact, that it took until New Year's Day to eat it with a pitchfork. It was so big that it took three people to wrestle it into the oven ... which needed to be the size of a house and a whole week to cook it. The biggest Christmas turkey in the world was so big that it needed bucketfuls of gravy on a plate the size of dustbin lid. When the biggest turkey in the world rolled out of the oven it almost squashed the cat ... so big in fact that the sausages that accompanied it could be used as canoes. The biggest Christmas turkey in the world sang Christmas carols (although they were hopelessly out of tune !). The biggest Christmas turkey in the world wore a Christmas party hat and was great at pulling Christmas crackers.
