Anna Annaconder

Language point: using shape similarities

Anna Annaconder was the the snazziest and the snakiest snake you could ever hope to creep into ... Anna Annaconder snaked her way up the trunk of a tree ... and around all the branches. She snaked her way like a skipping rope ... She span and span and before long, Anna Annaconder had tied herself completely in knots. It took ages for Anna Annaconder to unravel herself ... when she gulped, Anna Annaconder had knots in her belly button ... and was a mass of lumps and bumps. Anna Annaconder was an expert at macrami and made a great ribbon that her friends used to tie parcels and birthday presents with. She was a super necklace and an even better bracelet. Anna Annaconder was almost like a tightrope ... or a washing line ... and the other jungle animals, the chimpanzee and the gorilla could use Anna Annerconder to peg up their clothes. Anna Annaconder could be used as a scarf ... to keep you warm in winter ... or a belt to keep your trousers up. Her striped pattern made an excellent tie. When Anna Annerconder curled up, she made a great door stop. A string with which you can knit. Anna Annerconder was the best snake draw - string to keep your bag tied up as well as an excellent bag strap ... and an even better tie to keep your curtains tied back. But Anna Annerconder was such a good string that before long, she had tied everything up ! She started inn the kitchen, where the milk bottles all looked like Christmas presents ... and before long, the tins in the cupboards were tied up like Christmas hamper. The dishwasher and the fridge were inseparable. The brush stook to the mop, which Anna Annerconder tied to the vacuum cleaner, tied to the feather duster. The table and chairs were soon un - detatchable ... the fork, spoon and knife were completely wrapped up. Cups and saucers weren't cups and saucers at all ... and the serviettes now came in packs of six dozen or more. The rug was in a swirl ... around a cushions and curtains curl - all tied up neatly with an Anna Annerconder bow on top. Anna Annerconder wrapped up all the books on the bookshelves and all the ornaments in the lounge were packaged up tight. Anna Annerconder wrapped herself around the cat, fast asleep on the mat, and took the dog out for a walk, using Anna Annerconder as it's new lead. Of course, there was no need to tie him up on a lamp - post at the shops ! WOOF ! WOOF ! In the garden, Anna Annerconder fixed the fence and all the broken drainpipes. Everything was either glued, taped or tied together. Anna Annerconder tied up the roses to the hedge and there was no parting the mower and the trowel, the hedge - cutters and the spade. Even the leaves were tied to the trees and there was no undoing the apples and pears in the orchard. The grass was soon in bundles and flowers in bouquets.
