Language point: Conditionals
Divide the class in groups of 3 or the number you consider suitable. The group are called colours. if you can give them a blank piece of paper of that colour, it´d be greater. The teacher must have half conditional sentences written on strips of paper and another piece of paper with ladders in different colours. the same ones as the groups' colours. one of the members of the group goes to the teacher's table and take one of the strips of paper given by the teacher. they go back to their groups and make up sentences to complete the conditional. they take the sentences to the teacher so that he decides if it is correct or not. if it is, that colour goes up the ladder and take another strip of paper and so on. the winner is the first group to get the highest step on the ladder.
