Description

Hi Teachers!

Start the new year with a new job in China!

We are urgently hiring new Native speaker teachers for the Wuhan International School Programme starting late February early March 2017!

You will be working on the Hubei Wuhan International School Program. This program sends foreign native English teachers to schools across the provinces (cities like Wuhan, Yiching, Hefei) to teach in state schools. You will either be part of a team of foreign teachers, or you may be the only teacher at the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a good relationship with the local Chinese teachers at the school and become a member of the community.

The lessons are usually prepared, but will require a bit of adapting, and of course you are free to add elements to the lessons to make them more fun and interesting. You will soon become familiar with your students and their abilities so you will know what you need for each class.

You will work Monday to Friday in normal school hours. No evenings and your weekend is Saturday and Sunday, unlike jobs in teaching centres where you may work evenings up to 10pm and have to work Saturday and Sunday.

Accommodation is provided and will either be a shared apartment or a single apartment. If you share, it will be with a teacher on the program. The only bills you will be responsible for are the utilities (gas, water, internet)

All teachers on the program can do free Chinese language lessons, and if you do not have a TEFL qualification, you will be put through a TEFL course for FREE!

Salary is in the range of 7000-8000RMB per month and flight allowance is paid at the end of your contract.

School Types: primary or middle schools (government schools)
Hours: no more than 20 classes per week (classes are 40 mins long)
Student numbers: average 30 (may vary depending on location)
Student Level: Usually beginner but can vary.
Visa: Z Visa and Residence Permit/FEC

Salary and benefits

Salary: in the range of 7000-8000RMB per month depending on experience and location.
Opportunity to earn additional income after your first month with legal and authorised additional work, from kindy to corporate training!

The program offers extra benefits:
Airport pick up
Help opening a bank account
A social programme with other foreign teachers (football and rugby teams currently active)
An English speaking helper who is available 24 hours for urgent advice or help.
Chinese language lessons
TEFL course if not already qualified
After a month in the job, if you want to earn additional money, the programme can arrange legal and legitimate additional work (evenings and weekends) for you to help boost your bank balance.

Requirements

Native Speaker from UK, IRE, AUS, NZ, USA, CAN or RSA only (Chinese visa requirement)
Bachelors degree (Visa requirement)
Good standard of health
TEFL qualification NOT required (you will undergo training in China)
Clean criminal record
No experience required!

How to apply

To arrange an interview with the Foreign Director of the programme, please send your CV, degree scan, colour picture immediately to:
stuart@eflpro.co.uk

Please note that to get an invitation letter, you will need to have your documents notarised in your home country, and have these notarised documents legalised by the Chinese embassy. You will also need to have a medical in your home country. Please ensure that you are ready to move quickly on this as time is critical!
