The English Language Center is looking to recruit a small number of well-qualified language instructors for Fall 2007. Appointed instructors (male or female) will be part of a multi-cultural team working in the English Language Center.

The Opportunities
The English Language Center is looking to recruit a small number of well-qualified language instructors for Fall 2007. Appointed instructors (male or female) will be part of a multi-cultural team working in the English Language Center.
The English Language Center provides language courses to the University’s pre-baccalaureate students using an integrated skills, content-based approach. Course materials are currently being prepared as part of a textbook initiative funded by the University. Instructors can expect an average teaching load of eighteen hours (across two semesters) with classes that seldom exceed fifteen students per class.
The Requirements
Suitable applicants must have an MA in TESOL/Linguistics, or an MA in a related field and have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience, preferably at the adult or tertiary level. A recognized teaching qualification is highly desirable.
