Founded in 1983, HESS is the largest private language school in Taiwan. HESS operates more than 150 schools throughout Taiwan and employs nearly 600 native-speaking English teachers. Most schools are located in the big cities--Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Hsinchu and Taoyuan. Schools in smaller centers are available for the needs of a "culture vulture" or "Mandarin master." Each school is a friendly, independent team of foreign teachers, local teachers and staff, where everyone can play a part in providing excellent education to Taiwan's students.
1. Native English speaker
2. Passport holder from USA, CAN, UK, IRE, SA, AUS or NZ
3. Bachelor's degree (any discipline) OR associate degree accompanied by a TEFL/TESOL certificate
4. One-year employment contract
5. Criminal record check (upon offer of employment)
6. Physically and mentally healthy
