TEFL jobs > Sweden > Executive English
This advert was posted on: Tuesday, May 13, 2008
The role includes teaching Swedish executives and business leaders how to better communicate, present, write and socialise using the English language. We are looking for an experienced TEFL consultant with charisma and confidence to carry out this demanding but rewarding role starting in September.
This permanent position is located in Stockholm, the beautiful and vibrant capital of Sweden, where our consultants work mainly on client sites within the central areas of the city. The job includes coaching blue chip executives and managers, mainly within banking, law and IT organisations, to better communicate, present, write and socialise using the English language. Our clients are almost always more or less proficient, some very proficient, in the language which is why the role demands more of a coaching effort and an understanding of corporate environments rather than a classroom approach.
The applicant should be in possession of a TEFL diploma and have gained a thorough understanding of the demands of corporate clients in previous positions. Specific experience within the areas of financial and legal English is an advantage, but personality is still key. You should be a UK national with preferable experience of living abroad.
The role is freelance but we will assist in all legal and practical matters when it comes to finding accommodation, tax rules, etc. Starting salary is approximately £30-35/academic hour (45 min) gross (before social service charges and tax) and we will guarantee a minimum of 10 hours/week except during holiday periods. However, we do anticipate our consultants to work at least 20 hours/week most of the time.
Please e-mail CV's with or without photo as soon as possible as this is an ongoing recruitment process.
