I have apparently been offerd a job to teach in China--Shenyang to be specific. Now I can understand someone asking for a copy of my Degree, but a copy of passport makes me wonder. Is this standard procedure? I leave 7/29--which is 4 weeks from now.
Yeah this is standard and its the first thing employers will look at to determine where you are from and if you are indeed a native english speaker. Resume comes second copy of the passport is the most important.
