*** I got mail ***

Wow can you guys believe that I won the competition… because I can’t!!! Today I received my PRIZE!!! (cheque) for winning the competition and this is what happened..

I was super excited to see what’s inside the “envelope”, so I started tearing it from its side. As I was tearing the side, I was like “Ooooh, I should keep this envelope as a memory!” so instead of tearing it, I used a ruler to open it up.

When I got the cheque out of the envelope I realised that I was almost about to rip the cheque its self! That was a very very very scary moment.

 

Anyway I will update you guys later about my after CELTA experiences & after winning the ESLBASE competition experience.

   Hello Ayesha,

   I see that you have taken a step towards the CELTA world and that is what matters. You dont have to be worried or nervous at all! They tend to accept 99% of all applicants because this is not a job interview. The interview’s purpose is to get to know you. So go ahead and introduce your self. Be cool and answer all questions with a smile The type of questions they ask is regarding the information you gave them through your written application. So they will ask questions regarding your education or work background, which is no different than a conversation you would have with someone that wants to know you better. They will also inform you regarding payment of the course, hours etc.

   However, the interviews are usually held as group interviews. So there might be other people there that will be interviewed with you. Dont forget, you are going there to learn. So ask anything that you dont understand or want to know. There might be other people there that may have better experience or knowledge than you do. Dont let this drive you into a competitive mode. The CELTA is not about competition but about practicing what you already know in theory. I’m sure you will do just fine. Just be your self because thats all that matters
