It reminds me of the first day I went to the class. There was no bulldoser in my stomach; but I was up all night waiting my wife deliver a baby. I had just rushed directly from Hospital to my first class. I knew that the students were there to really get me…
Well I said to myself let the bottom of the basket fall !!!
…and it fell.

Hello,
Don’t worry about that, my first day of teaching went HORRIBLY! Everything was totally out of control, I almost cried that day I just couldn’t take it.
You’ll get used to it by time, just take it easy and work hard, everyday is a new experience.
Best Wishes
Yours: Jenna

Dear Hilal,
What you plan to do is excellent yet requires hard work as for every odds.
Teaching reminds me the well-known quot from Edison. There is no problem that our brain can’t solve. All we have to do is to learn how to think!
Go ahead and teach your students how to learn how to think!
Good luck

This is anyone who started teaching would experience. I also feel terrific in my college presentations but later on is start to like it. Without these feelings, I can not give what I want:)

Hey Hilal, don’t worry about it too much, you’ll get better as the course progresses…

On my first day of teaching, back in September 1967, I was very nervous. I met a class of over 30 business-writing students, and the very first thing I could think to talk about was how to drop the course!
After that, classroom life got a little easier. I don’t think I was a very good teacher in my first year, but my students taught me how much fun it could be. After 40 years, it’s still fun!
Cheers,
Crawford Kilian

I have known Ms. Hastaoglu for over 8 years now and am honored to call her my friend. She has always been a great example of a literary creativity. I remember reading her poetry and being amazed by how eloquently she was able to express her emotions. It was easy to tell the type of mood she was in from her poetry. She was a source of inspiration for me to write my own poetry. It was a wonderful and constructive way to vent my emotions. She was also a wonderful source of ideas on how to edit my work. Ms. Hastaoglu always understood the flow of what I was trying to express. The skills I have learned her have not only helped me in my personal writing, they have also helped me in getting through my writing classes in university. I am delighted to see that Ms. Hastaoglu is now a source of learning for a larger range of students.
