Course details

The School for International Training's TESOL Certificate (Brattleboro, Vermont, USA) is a 130 hour course which provides participants with professional knowledge and skills in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) as well as tools for their own reflection and growth as teachers. It is designed to be offered intensively in four weeks or extensively over a longer period.

* The program is experiential, learner-centered and fully integrated.
* Practice teaching (6 hours of solo teaching per participant) and feedback are integral to the course and to the development of effective teaching.
* Participants develop skills for reflective teaching, providing invaluable tools for continued teacher development beyond the course.
* Classes are small, with a 6:1 participant/trainer ratio.
