Trinity CertTESOL
The Trinity Cert TESOL course is a four week, intensive course, consisting of 130 timetabled hours. You will have input sessions for 5 full days a week for 4 weeks. The course combines a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops, led by experienced teachers who will help you prepare for your teaching practice, in which you wil teach a minimum of 6 hours.
The course is predominantly practical and afternoons are dedicated to teaching practice. In addition you will need to allow plenty of time for extra unsupervised private study (e.g. reading, research, the writing of assignments, lesson preparation) both in the evenings and at weekends.
Once you are accepted on a course you will be sent a pre-course assignment, plus a short reading list. Completing these tasks will prepare you for the course by raising your awareness of language and language learning.
The Trinity CertTESOL course at ILS English costs £950, which includes the Trinity examination and moderation fee. If you are offered a place on the course, we will require a £100 non-refundable deposit upon your acceptance. The balance is payable a week before the course starts.
