About our TEFL Program
The Institute's Approach to Teacher Training
Our teacher training program is based on an active learning approach, giving our TEFL trainees extensive opportunity to practice what they study. Trainees in our program participate in classes where their trainers model the teaching techniques to be mastered. Trainees then undertake skill-building activities, both individually and in small groups. They also lead their own EFL practice teaching classes for a minimum of four hours, receiving guidance and feedback from our experienced teacher trainers.
We limit class size to 12 trainees for maximum benefit to participants in our program. Our trainers will give you personal attention throughout the course, and encourage you to develop your own teaching style while mastering the essential skills of teaching English.
