Íbero Spanish School offers an intense, challenging, and exciting 4 week internationally recognized TEFL Course in the downtown of beautiful Buenos Aires, at Íbero Spanish School. Íbero is the only institute in BA that provides both the training of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Certified Spanish classes in one challenging and fun combined course.

Íbero Spanish School is located in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires.
The facilities and classrooms are comfortable, well-lit, and fully equipped with audiovisual and interactive materials. The school also has a common area with free internet access and wi-fi and tourism brochures, sunny outdoor patio and terrace, bathrooms on each level, and management offices.

Our course is specially designed for those students who want to become TEFL Certified in the minimum 4 week period, but also who want time to explore their new city, meet new friends, visit city attractions, experience the Tango, dance to Latin American rhythms, and most of all, fall in love with the 'Paris of South America'.

Above all, students will leave our course with the skills needed to live and work in Latin America and other countries around the world. Our courses are externally validated and moderated and both our TEFL and Spanish certificates are nationally and internationally recognized.

What students can expect:

TEFL certification requires exclusive training and careful preparation. Our 4 week course includes over 95 hours of input classes and 6 hours of observed teaching practice; Input classes will be held each day, during the 4 weeks, from 2 until 7; Observed teaching practice hours will begin the 2nd week of classes and are held during the morning. We recommend that our students prepare themselves for a full work load as there is plenty of material to cover. However, our teachers work hard to make each lesson exciting and challenging and we encourage our students have fun with the course, make friends with their fellow classmates, enjoy BA's sights and attractions, and take part in Íbero's weekly activities and final Graduation Trip.

After students have completed their TEFL training, Íbero will provide constant assistance in helping students to find TEFL jobs in and outside of Buenos Aires. Íbero suggests as soon as students have completed their cover letters and CV's, to begin their job search. We have detailed contact lists of individuals, schools, and institutes searching for employees, as well as numerous internet links to job postings. The need for English teachers in Buenos Aires is large and constantly growing as the need for English speakers worldwide grows; Students, once certified should have no problem finding jobs in institutes, schools, or on an individual level around Buenos Aires.

Requirements:

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Commitment to the program and a high degree of maturity and professionalism
- Complete the 100 hours of class with tutor
- Complete the 6 hours of teacher practice
- Hand in all written assignments and materials
- Must be a native speaker of English or have satisfactorily completed the TOEFL or IELTS, level 6.
