What’s new this week
Since our last update two weeks ago, new job vacancies have been posted in China, Oman, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Taiwan, Chile, Italy, the UK, South Korea, Canada, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Kuwait and the Czech Republic. Here’s a selection:
Kuwait Airways need a native speaker English language instructor with at least 3 years experience.
Teaching Chile need teachers for secondary level, university level and adult learners in cities across Chile.
Global Village Vancouver are looking for an ESL Program Administrative Assistant to work in a fast-paced environment in Canada.
This week we’ve also launched the ESL exam centres directory. We’ve listed centres in 130 countries where your students can take Cambridge ESOL exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC and YLE), IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT and GRE. If your students are studying preparation courses for any of these exams, find out where they can sit the exams here.
The latest post in our TEFL chat forum comes from Pswinney. He says “I am taking up a teaching position in Japan in the new year and would appreciate some advice on the common learning difficulties Japanese students experience when learning English.”
If you can help Pswinney, post your reply here.
That’s it this week. For those of you starting new jobs in September, good luck!
