What’s new this week

Since our last update two weeks ago, new job vacancies have been posted in China, Oman, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Taiwan, Chile, Italy, the UK, South Korea, Canada, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Kuwait and the Czech Republic. Here’s a selection:

Kuwait Airways need a native speaker English language instructor with at least 3 years experience.

Teaching Chile need teachers for secondary level, university level and adult learners in cities across Chile.

Global Village Vancouver are looking for an ESL Program Administrative Assistant to work in a fast-paced environment in Canada.

This week we’ve also launched the ESL exam centres directory. We’ve listed centres in 130 countries where your students can take Cambridge ESOL exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC and YLE), IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT and GRE. ARTOS Language School are looking for qualified and experienced native speaker teachers for two or five year contracts. ARTOS, established in 1991, describe Olsztyn as the “capital of the lake district” and “the most picturesque region of Poland”.

The school offers General English, Business English and ESP to adults and children, and prepares students for external exams. They offer a salary of between 3000 and 6000 PLN, and assist teachers in finding suitable accommodation.

If you want to work on sustainable development in a disadvantaged community, AVIF need long and short term volunteers for their projects in Kenya.

SDM English in Istanbul, Turkey, need qualified and experienced teachers urgently.

Atlantic Bilingual School are looking for elementary, middle and high school teachers for the academic year starting in August, in Puerto Cortes, Honduras.

Teaching English in Poland

Profi-Lingua are looking for full time teachers to teach in locations all over Poland from October 2006. They have classes from Beginner to Proficiency level, with a maximum of 15 students per class. They place a heavy emphasis on speaking and conversational ability, and prepare students for external exams.

“I know we’ve all agreed that CELTA and CertTOSEL certificates are the “only” degrees to have if you’re going to teach abroad. But what about for us “poor folk” that cant afford those schools? Coroprate language training in China

Here’s a totally different opportunity to our last post - an opportunity for Corporate Language Trainers in various locations in China, with EF.

They are looking for full and part time Corporare Trainers with at least one year of experience and a CELTA qualification or equivalent.

Vacancies are also available for Senior Corporate Accounts Trainers, with duties including providing support and guidance for trainers, scheduling, inducting new trainers and administering tests. For these postions you will need at least two years of experience.
