Teachers' advice  >  Palestine

teaching english in palestine

"Dear colleagues, countries of the Islamic nations are similar in many ways. They are sensitive in matters of religion. No jokes about God-ALLAH. Wear non-revealing items, respect the habits even if you are not convinced. Roaming with shorts is detested. We respect all nationalities regardless of colour, race and language. Don't indulge into political issues for the sake of the West. There is hidden hate because the West backs Israel. Don't spread your culture if it is not conformed with the current culture. If you want to drink, make sure that you are not seen publicly. Read Islam with an open mind. Don't be blinded by the anti-propaganda."
Sami, 03/03/07
