Teachers' advice  >  New Zealand

teaching english in new zealand

"Never send a CV. Be pro-active and go in person, make an appointment and be as pushy as possible. Immigrants are not welcome and don't get first place. Go to a big centre where they are more accepting of foreigners. There is no prospect of full-time employment in small tourist centres. You also need to be full of energy and 'with-it'."
